I was employed by Greenscapes on a temporary basis (one-month contract) to help kickstart their marketing strategy for the commercial side of the business. They wanted me to design a new leaflet to send to new businesses in the Manchester area. Once these were printed, I visited local businesses to have a face-to-face chat about the services on offer and to add a personalised touch.

 

I focused my search on industrial sites, pubs, bars, and nursing homes. I offered free no-obligation quotes to the businesses as a way of building a relationship with Greenscapes. I used my initiative a lot, and once I gained a full understanding of the services, products and prices, I was able to tailor-make experiences for each of the businesses I visited and give them an overview of what the company could offer.

I helped to rebrand the company, as the original design varied across the different methods of marketing. Alongside all modified marketing materials, I created a full website redesign that was ready to go live at the point of the contract ending, however, I'm not sure if the owners went ahead due to the costs involved.

 

I left the business knowing that the owners were more confident with their marketing activities and a huge array of marketing materials to help secure future sales.
