Role and Responsibilities
Whilst working at Qbase, I gained vast knowledge of the data marketing industry and how important it is for many commercial businesses to understand and market to their customers.
I engineered an email marketing campaign that was sent to over 100,000 leads and received interest from some global companies such as Tesco and Everton Football Club. Throughout my time at Qbase, I increased their Twitter following by 30% and spent much time enhancing the company’s social media following.
I took on a lot of roles that a marketing manager would usually undertake, such as overseeing the Marketing Budget, Strategic Planning of upcoming events, PR and Social Media, and leading my own projects such as a website and competitor analysis.
I also kept on top of the day-to-day running of the marketing department, including organising meetings to ensure complete transparency and efficient delegation when working with the outside design and PR agencies.
I updated the company’s social media and brand guidelines which I adhered to when designing a lot of work for external publications. This included Case Studies, Fact sheets, and Testimonials, as well as a monthly internal newsletter.
Throughout my time at Qbase, my marketing and design skills have vastly improved as I learned how to manage high-pressure deadlines as well as create new ideas to increase the publicity of the business.
